Sometimes it’s too difficult to get on with things at home… too many distractions and too many people about! And without a decent library locally, or even the car at the moment, I resorted to a slightly unusual way of finding my own space. I find that when I have a job I’m not too keen on starting (e.g. dissertation research) then the best thing to do is pack up my things and go somewhere different.

It just so happens that at the end of garden is a shed, which was previously home to a bicycle, a uni-cycle, lawnmower, dog box, that sort of thing. And it just so happens that I have a dad who can build a couple of windows into the side to give it some light over the weekend! I’m so lucky to have this cosy little space… it does have a wifi signal, but it’s so much less distracting and has a rather calming atmosphere, with the smell of wood & the blustery wind at the door.

And for today it was perfect… some days can be frustrating, and all you want is cosiness… a favourite comfy jumper, a big mug of tea and the sofa. Oh… and a fluffy spaniel too, Truffle is very keen on the cabin! So never mind all the pretty fashion blogs out there…. today all I want is colourful mis-matched charity shop clothes and slippers! So that’s what’s going on the blog! Hehe…
