This was such a fun little mini-project, and it took no time at all! I was repainting my desk at the time (all I need now are some handles for the drawers and then I can finally photograph & post it!) and I thought since I had all the brushes & newspaper out I’d knock together this one too. The mugs were £1 from “The Original Factory Shop” in Carterton where I work, and I simply masking-taped off half of it and gave it a couple of coats of chalkboard paint… amazing stuff.
Then all you do is leave them about for you family to de-face them, or write a message on one and take someone a cup of tea. My only feedback on the project so far is that I might give them another coat, as with a bit of water the paint flakes off a little. But hey, they’re not made to last forever, they’re made for fun! 🙂
