Easter Bug Biccies

Happy Easter everyone!
I was inspired by these biscuits from my Good Food magazine… but having been unable to leave the village for the last week due to snow and a broken-down Smart car (again!) I found that I had only a few drops of red food colouring and was therefore unable to make bright ladybirds. Soo… I got a little more inventive. And made grasshoppers and beetle-bugs too :). I hope you like them! Instead of using ready-roll fondant I made royal icing (icing sugar + egg white + lemon juice) which I love for the way it sets.
Have a lovely weekend… I’m off to eat more chocolate, relax and fend of the revision for another couple of days !
